About Me: My inclination towards art began at a very young age. Being naturally gifted, I am a self taught artist with an abstract expressionistic style. My work has been exhibited in galleries throughout San Diego County and viewed worldwide through internet sites. I founded and operated Creative Expressions Art Studio in 2002; I offered art classes to include watercolor and acrylic painting, ceramic painting, arts and crafts, and hand building with clay. I eventually changed locations and changed the name to Norma's Art Gallery and then to Noric Fine Art Gallery. I maintained a studio/gallery inside Distinction Gallery and Artist Studios, for 18 months until moving to my current location in La Mesa. NORIC Art & Wellness at the La Mesa Biz Center, 7317 El Cajon Boulevard, Suite 203A, La Mesa, Ca 91942.
My background is in early childhood education. I operated a preschool business for many years before deciding to continue my education. My interest in holistic medicine prompted me to study psychology. I earned an Associates of Arts degree from the University of Phoenix, with an emphasis in psychology, I am currently attending Pacific college of Oriental Medicine. I am licensed by the State of California to practice massage therapy. My objective is to provide a well rounded approach to health and well being; using art as Therapy, Massage therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine (fire cupping), Reflexology, Acupressure, Aromatherapy, Color therapy, and Nutrition.
