Cupping Therapy
Cupping therapy falls under the category of Traditional Chinese
Medicine (TCM) It is an ancient Chinese practice, used for thousands of
years to fight diseases, illnesses, pain, and congestion. Cupping
therapy works on the meridians. Meridians are pathways through which
energy flows to every part of the body and through every organ and
tissue. Cupping is used for healing, and for preventive maintenance- to prevent illnesses and disease. Cupping is recommended as a routine regiment for wellness. $40 30 Minutes. Reflexology
Reflexology is a modality for relieving pain and inducing
relaxation. It is based on the concept that there are pressure points,
called reflex points, on the feet, hands, and ears that correspond to
specific parts of the body. When gentle pressure is applied to a
particular point, it stimulates and relieves pain in the corresponding
body part. Reflexology Helps with relaxation and stress reduction, Improves circulation and oxygenation, Helps the body absorb more nutrients, Helps detox and remove toxins and impurities, and Rejuvenates the body. Reflexology is recommended as a routine treatment for continued health and well being. $65 With spa treatment and options. $85 Options: Magnesium Mineral soak, Ginger and cayenne rub, Activated charcoal detox rub.

Sounding Board Therapy
For times when you just need someone to talk to, someone who is
neutral to you and your situation and is not going to judge or take
sides; or you need to vent and have an undivided listening ear.
'Sounding Board Therapy' offers that listening ear. You will receive 40
minutes of undivided listening attention, while soft music plays in the
background while you talk and sip on herbal tea to calm your nerves and
also enjoy the aroma of stress reducing essence in the air. Self
applied stress reducing tools are made available for your convenience.
OPTION 2- Art As Therapy is available as you talk and express yourself. $25 40 min.
Use of Art 'As Therapy' is the experience of creating art and deriving therapeutic benefits from the process. Creating art can be soothing, can release stress and tension, and is a form of non-verbal expression or communication that changes your state of being. Art therapy is beneficial for expressing oneself imaginatively, authentically, and spontaneously; leading to personal fulfillment, emotional reparation, and transformation. Art therapy can be helpful in releasing emotions and providing relief from painful or troubling feelings. By making art and using our imaginations, we may find relief from fears, anxiety, and depression and discover new meaning in our lives.
It is not necessary to be an artist to use art as therapy. The purpose of using art as therapy is to communicate thoughts and feelings. Creating art is a form of nonverbal communication. There are no boundaries. You do not have to color inside the lines. No prior knowledge or experience is required. You do not have to know how to draw or paint. All art expression is acceptable. Everyone can benefit from the process of creating art. It does not have to be pretty or anesthetically pleasing. There is no right or wrong way to make art. There are no rules about how to paint or draw. (Malchiodi, C, The Art Therapy Sourcebook, 2007)
Sessions Offered: Individual, couple, group or family (4), and individual wellness series (12 sessions). 90 minute session includes warm up, art application, relaxing music, beverage.
PLEASE NOTE: I am not an art therapist. I offer art as therapy because I realize the benefits obtained through art making and have used art as therapy personally as well as professionally- creating works of art to market and art for personal well being. If you would like to join me, please call for an appointment.

| THE ART OF WELL BEING - Your Home
Your home is your sanctuary, a place of refuge from the outside world. Consider it a retreat from the stresses of the work place, hustle and bustle of the market place, and the illness of ruthless societal attitudes and actions. Your home is your vacation from anything that interrupts your peace and well-being. Your home is a place of private solitude, joy, and enjoyment. Therefore, surround yourself with things in your home that evoke emotions of peace and tranquility. Use colors in your home, which, speak to your inner being and bring about desired feelings. When you walk through the door, what is it that you want to experience upon entering? Select items that will create that experience. But, most of all seek peace and harmony with those whom you share your sanctuary.
